Faber and Faber, London, 1967
Octavo. Original grey-green boards with red backstrip, lettered in gilt to spine. Light wear to spine ends, slightest offsetting to endpapers. With two discreet ex libris labels: one in blindstamp on a front blank and the other on the front pastedown which is hidden by the flap. Otherwise a fine copy in a fine unclipped dust jacket with no fading to the spine, uncommon with this volume.
3000 copies printed. Wodwo was Hughes' first book for adults after Lupercal in 1960. It consists principally of poems but also contains five stories and a radio play.
Signed and dated on the day of publication (18th May 1967) by Hughes on the front free endpaper.
